This beer is a mixture of the barrels 19, 23 and 24. The beer which served as the base is the Grutte Pier Triple which has been in the oakwood barrels from 13 November 2017 till 17 July 2019. An edition of 888 bottles.
This beer underwent an extra fermentation with a brettanomyces yeast in a French oakwood barrel. Therefore we call this beer a Bretttûne beer, this beer style is a combination of the word Brett and Tûne (Frisian for barrel) and the three t's stand for the trinity: Beer, Barrel and Brett. The beer style Bretttûne distinguishes itself by a complex fruity character, a slight sourness and subtle vanilla because of the oakwood. A beer which you could easily store in a dark and cool place to let it ripen for years.
