This is a blend of one cask Grutte Pier Blond, one cask Grutte Pier Blond with dryhop and one cask Grutte Pier Triple which has been in the barrel from 11 September 2017 till 13 March 2018. An edition of 1712 bottles.
This beer has underwent an extra fermentati0j with a brettanomyces yeast in a French oakwood barrel. Therefore we call this a Bretttûne beer, this beer style is a combination of the word Brett and Tûne (Frisian for barrel) and the three t's stand for trinity: Beer, Barrel and Brett. The beer style Bretttûne distinguishes itself by a complex fruity character, a slight sourness and subtile vanilla because of the oakwood. A beer which you could easily store in a dark and cool place to let it ripen for years.
