FRISIAN BEER AMBER

'Pompeblêd' is the Frisian name for the leave of the yellow water-lily. The name is used to indicate the seven red lily-pad shaped leaves on the Frisian flag. The seven red 'pompeblêden' refer to the medieval Frisian 'sea countries'. These are regions along the coast from Alkmaar to the Wezer in Germany. There have never been precisely seven of these administrative units. The number seven has probably the connotation 'a lot'. But some sources do mention seven Frisian territories: West Frisa, Westergo, Eastergo, Hunsingo, Fivelgo, Emsingo and Jeverland. Ingredients: Water, BARLEY malt, WHEAT malt, Hop (Cascade, Saaz), Liquorice, Cinnamon, Cane sugar and yeast. Produced by Grutte Pier Brewery from Bartlehiem. Unpasteurized and unfiltered. Contains gluten. Top fermentation beer. Secondary fermentation in the bottle. Alcohol percentage 6,5% EBU: 29 EBC: 13 Content: 33 cl
